Porthleven, Kernow

„Sailing, I am sailing
Home again, ‘cross the sea
I am sailing, stormy waters
To be near you, to be free

I am flying, I am flying
Like a bird, ‘cross the sky
I am flying, passing high clouds
To be with you, who can say

Can you hear me, can you hear me
Through the dark night, far away?
I am dying, forever trying
To be with you, who can say
I am dying, forever trying
To be with you, who can say

We are sailing, we are sailing
Home again, ‘cross the sea
We are sailing, stormy waters
To be near you, to be free
To be near you, to be near you, to be free.”

Viscri

After going on a dusty county road , wondering whether you ‘ve lost , you discover Viscri . A village in the heart of Brasov county , forgotten by time , operating by its own rules, so accurately kept. Imposing tower rises above the village Fortified Evangelical Church , peasant citadel surrounded by walls . Viscri derives its name from the German Weisskirch ( Waisskirich in Saxon dialect ), meaning ” White Church ” after imposing white walls . Viscri is one of the oldest settlements of German colonists in Transylvania.
